The Lakewood Ranch Club opened in May of 2023… our first. The first floor of the building is 29,441 sq ft , which contains 12 champion pickleball courts, locker rooms, the Dinks Pro Shop, and Pickles Café. The second-floor mezzanine is 4,002 sq ft, which contains a 1,965 sq ft Player’s Lounge, our upstairs bar and club offices. The total building is 33,443 sq ft. The outside Players Courtyard is 1/5 acre and contains 2 regulation pickleball courts, 2 bocce courts [12’ x 55’ each] and a seating area for outside activities. The courts are covered with a large canopy to shield players from sun and wind exposure.
The clubhouse is typically set a comfortable 73 degrees Fahrenheit and 50% humidity. The ceiling are 28” in height and the walls are acoustically paneled for sound mitigation and padded for safety. The courts are regulation size with 5’ clearance on the sides and 7’ back courts. Each court has a PlaySight camera system for video tapping and viewing later. Lighting is all indirect and LED. There are There are 7 monitors throughout the club ranging in size from 55” to 85”.
The club is in the Sarasota Trade Center in the master planned community of Lakewood Ranch in Sarasota County. We are east of I-75 and north of Fruitville Road. Just minutes from downtown Waterside, the center of Lakewood Ranch
